For Dan, that calling is deeply personal.

Serving from a Transformed Life

Dan has been part of the Church on the Hill family for 12 years, and currently serves as a Tech Team Lead and as Board Chair for The Block Community Outreach. But for Dan, serving is about transformation, not titles.

Serving became the natural response to what God had already done in his life, an outward expression of gratitude and obedience in this season of calling.

Some of Dan’s most meaningful moments of service happen alongside his family.

From packing and delivering food through The Block to serving together on Sundays, these shared moments have become powerful discipleship experiences. Not through lectures or lessons, but through example.

Serving side by side allows Dan’s family to live out what it means to follow Jesus, not just by attending church, but by being the church. His kids see faith and generosity lived out instead of just hearing about it.

Faith That Moves Into Action

Through consistent service, Dan has seen his own faith deepen and others impacted. Serving has reminded him that discipleship is active, lived out through presence, love, and faithfulness.
