Sundays on the Hill

Visiting a church can be an overwhelming experience when you don't know what to expect, which is why we are committed to making sure you have a great experience! We would love to have you join us in person for one of our Sunday morning worship services on campus at 9:30 in the Chapel or 11am in the Worship Center.

It doesn’t matter if you are new to church, returning to church, not-quite-sure-about church, or looking for a new church. We want you to feel at home on the Hill.

What to Expect on the Hill

We have two services on a Sunday morning. Both services are a celebration of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ!

The 9:30 am service takes place in the chapel complex, located on the east side of the main building. This service has a more liturgical and traditional feel with music led from the piano and organ. Periodically we will have “Orchestra Sundays,” which features orchestral instrumentation. This service lasts 60-65 minutes.

The 11 am service is held in the worship center with a more modern style of music and features a full band. This service lasts 60-65 minutes.

In both services we celebrate Holy Communion (aka: the Eucharist, The Lord’s Supper, etc.) weekly. We believe this element serves to anchor our service to the Salvation event on the Cross thus, allowing the focus of our worship to be on Christ and not a speaker, singer, and band. Everyone is invited to participate in the Table of the Lord. We follow the Christian Calendar (aka: the liturgical year) as we believe this helps to remind us that we are part of a larger story (aka: the Church universal); while also emphasizing the fullest scope of the birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We use the word teaching rather than preaching, even though we can preach. Our teaching consists of a team of men and women on staff and strives to be simple, practical, and relevant to our daily lives. We teach in a series of themes that last 4-6 weeks, and anchor everything we do in the Scripture. Our teaching team creates identical messaging for both services, so there is alignment each week regardless of which service you attend.

At 9:30 and 11:00, babies, preschoolers, and elementary students have a blast worshipping with their friends and learning about God’s love for them in irresistible environments located within the main worship building.  Middle and High School students are encouraged to participate in worship during the 9:30AM service. Our middle school students meet Sundays at 11 AM in our youth building for a fun gathering tailored just for them.  High School students are encouraged to participate in worship during the 11AM service and have their own student worship on Sunday nights at 6 PM.

We prefer clothes. Seriously, wear what you want. You'll find a variety of wardrobe styles any given Sunday from jeans and t-shirts, suits and dresses, ties and sport coats, or shorts and flip flops. We think God is more concerned with how we dress our soul and not our body, so come as you are! We're just glad to see you!

We encourage everyone to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the service to check your children into the children’s areas, grab a complimentary cup of coffee from the Café, and find a seat.

As you drive onto campus, look for signs that say, “Guest Parking.” Follow those, and they will lead you to the convenient parking near the main worship center for the 11:00 contemporary service or the chapel for the 9:30 traditional service.

Have children participating in our nursery or children's ministry? You will want to use the parking spaces that are near the water fountain area and the worship center entrance for both the 9:30 service and 11:00 service.

No children and attending the 9:30 traditional service? Please use the guest parking spaces that are convenient to the entrance to the chapel.

Have children who want to participate in our nursery or children’s ministry? Please enter near the fountain under the covered entryway. Someone will be happy to guide you to check-in your children and then escort you to either the 9:30 service chapel area or the 11:00 service in the worship center.

No children attending children's programming? For the 9:30 service, please enter the east end of the building in the chapel complex (this is the smaller building farther from the main entrance). For the 11:00 service, enter near the fountain under the covered entryway. Be on the lookout for greeters who will be standing outside the entrance.

QUESTIONS?   When you enter the lobby of either the chapel or the worship center,  look for the CONNECT area, which is on your left as you enter the chapel and, on your right, as you enter the worship center.

Also feel free to contact us at and we’ll be in touch.

After the Service:  Please stop by the CONNECT area to meet the pastor and receive a gift for choosing to worship with us.  We want you to know that we are thankful for you joining us.

If you have other questions, contact us at   and we’ll be in touch.
