Feed Global Celebrate Local Missions Event

As we move into our ALL IN journey, we’re putting love into action through Feed Global, Celebrate Local—a day where our church family comes together to serve both globally and right here at home.
On Sunday, February 22, immediately following the 10AM service, we will have the opportunity to participate in a couple of projects. In partnership with Rise Against Hunger, we’ll join the worldwide movement to fight food insecurity by packaging thousands of meals for vulnerable communities around the globe. Rise Against Hunger targets places experiencing extreme hunger and invites volunteers into a hands-on, high-impact experience.
But our mission doesn’t stop there. We’ll also “celebrate local” by assembling birthday kits that will be distributed through The Block Community Outreach and the North Gwinnett Co-Op—simple gifts that remind children in our neighborhoods they are seen, loved, and worth celebrating. To prepare for this effort, we’re collecting birthday-kit supplies in both church lobbies from February 1–15. The following donations are needed:
- Cake Mix-your favorite flavor (white/yellow mix works well)
- Sprite-12 oz can (replaces eggs, oil and water)
- Frosting-1 can FunFetti which includes sprinkles
- Disposable Cake Pan with lid-9x13 aluminum pan
- Birthday Candles (small box)
- Decorations-balloons
- Unsigned card-a festive birthday card
