Kids | Church on the Hill

At Church on the Hill, we see children as an important part of our family. In our Kids Ministry our goal is to help your child discover what it means to love God and love people, while having some fun, too!

What we teach our Kids on the Hill:

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful truths:

  • God Made Me
  • God Loves Me
  • Jesus Wants to be my Friend Forever

Kids in Kindergarten - 5th grade learn three basic but powerful truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:

  • I need to make the wise choice
  • I can trust God no matter what
  • I should treat others the way I want to be treated

Kids on the Hill Opportunities

Join us in-person on Sundays at 9:30am or 11:00am.

We’re excited that your child will be joining us at Kids on the Hill! Please arrive 10 minutes before service so that you can complete a 1st time Children's Ministry Visitor card. We can then get your child checked in and allow time to get you to the adult service. Your child will attend class according to age group. After your initial visit, we’ll enter their information into our system to make future check-ins faster!

Being new can be hard! We get it! As a parent, you're more than likely to have a bit of anxiety about dropping your child off.  As a kid, there is always that awkward and scary feeling as your parent walks away. We want to help you in this process. Please feel free to ask Children's Director, Jen Kenerly, any questions you may have. Our volunteers are well-versed and trained, as well as have had a background check. So please do not hesitate to ask questions, present concerns, or stay for 5 minutes until you feel comfortable moving into the Worship Center.

Enter the main entrance doors and follow signage indicating Kids Check In location. We will give you a sticker with a unique ID number that matches your child’s tag, which you will use to pick them up after service. No one else will be allowed to pick up your child without a sticker. If you are needed at anytime during service, your child’s ID number will be displayed on the LED screens at either side of the auditorium.

Your child’s safety is top priority to us. That’s why each of our children's wings are equipped with electronic check-in and hall security, and each Kid’s Ministry volunteer is required to submit to a thorough background check before serving. In addition, COTH has a trained safety team and video surveillance. We’re sure that we can provide a safe environment for your kids while you enjoy your time in our adult service.
