Picture Perfect Family
June 11-July 30
Summer is a time for family. For some, family time is fun and fulfilling. For others, thinking about family can be uncomfortable or even painful.
We all wish we had a picture-perfect family. But we all have stories that we'd rather not tell and some level of dysfunction. In the stories of Genesis, we discover God's chosen family had struggles, secrets, sibling rivalries, and even threats of murder. As we explore these rich and ancient stories, we see how God works in us and through us—despite family dysfunction—to bring about God’s perfect will for the world. The good news is that we can find hope for God’s presence and activity in our own families today.
Join us each Sunday this summer for our "Picture-Perfect" Family sermon series during both the 9:30am and 11:00am services. Visit onthehill.life/picture-perfect for more information.
Father's Day
June 18
When does a dad joke become a dad joke? When it becomes "apparent".
Dads, you are always good for a well-timed joke. But more importantly, you build, teach, love and lead. Sunday, June 18 is your day, and we want to honor you! We hope you will join us On The Hill for a special Father’s Day recognition.
We also invite you to read our free resource 5 Traits of Biblical Fatherhood.
Connect on the Hill
June 18
New to Church on the Hill? You are invited to Connect on the Hill on Sunday, June 18 immediately following each service for an opportunity to meet and greet a pastor and others within the congregation. You can also get answers to any questions you may have and also learn about what next steps you can take here On the Hill. See you then!
Rally on the Hill
TODAY, June 11
As we wrap up this past week's Rally on the Hill activities, all are invited to participate in today's church-wide party immediately following the 11am service! Join us on the front lawn for lunch, wet slides, a foam pit, and more!
Summer at the Block
June-July
Summer is a great time to jump in and serve with our partners in ministry at The Block. There are two primary ways that you can serve this summer—giving your time and giving your resources. The Block is seeking volunteers to serve families in need, right here in our community. These are short term commitments and you can commit to whatever time you have available to give. They are also collecting book bags and school supplies for the start of the 2023 school year. Visit the theblockoutreach.org/summer for more details on these opportunities and to sign up.
