Here on the Hill, we recognize the importance of being in community as we seek to authentically worship God, grow our faith, understand God’s plan, and live out our love for God by serving others. If you are new here, we look forward to doing life together and invite you to Worship, Grow and Serve on the Hill. If you have not already done so, we invite you to stop by the Connect Table so that we can greet you and share more about what makes people call Church on the Hill their home.
When we lean into the scriptures and spend time with God, we grow our faith and understanding of God’s plan for our lives, our church, and our community. We find that we do this best when we gather together. Here are some wonderful ways to engage in building relationships and being in community with others and with God.
Men’s Wing Night
Men of all ages come to Men’s Wing Night to grow; as we discuss our everyday life experiences, wants and desires through the lens of what God says to us in the relaxed atmosphere of wings and the fellowship of men seeking after the heart of God. Men’s Wing Night is the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Tannery Row in Buford.
The Gathering
Women of all ages are invited for a time of dialogue, support, laughter, and encouragement; as we share life and lean into the wisdom, gifting and experience of others who have walked this road before. It is a great time of real talk and affirmation from women just like you. The Gathering happens every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Friends Buford Grill.
55 Plus (Keenagers)
For those mature adults who have been there done that and know that God still has so much more to do with and through them, then 55 Plus is the group for you. The monthly events include: A Luncheon – a time of fellowship with various topics or field trips to local museums or gardens every 2nd Tuesday. There is breakfast gathering at Cracker Barrel every 3rd Tuesday.

Recognizing that we are the hands and feet of Jesus, we find that we are all called to use our gifts, talent and time to show love to others. Serving others is at the core of what makes us true followers of Christ. To learn more about the ways you can let people in our community, or even here on the Hill, know they are known and loved visit Serve. We know that you will find nothing short of God’s joy when you serve those who need to see and feel the love of Christ.
