One story of impact of the church comes from Anna Kneser. She is a graduating senior and has been a part of Students on the Hill for the last seven years. Anna shared, "Students on the Hill has allowed me to develop my character through being a part of the Student Leadership Team, given me more opportunities to be involved in the community, and provided me with longstanding relationships."

This community at Church on the Hill has provided what she needed to connect with others, specifically during the summer retreat in 2021. "I made so many friends that I still talk to today, and the serving that we participated in truly opened my eyes to how good giving back to the community can be."

Having this outlet at the church has also allowed her to grow through serving opportunities that have spilled into other areas of her life. "I’ve expanded my love of serving through being president of Key Club at my school, a volunteer-based organization, and leading The Block Community Outreach backpack drive over the summer. I would not be the person that I am today without the Christ-centered environment that I have cherished for these past seven years."
