Jesus was a master storyteller. He used common subjects and everyday experiences to share deep truths about God, kingdom values, and ourselves.

You are invited to listen to Jesus Christ tell us stories about the Kingdom as we continue in the Gospel of Matthew.

Pictures of the Kingdom: Parable of the Talents

God has entrusted each of us with gifts, abilities, opportunities, and resources that are meant to be used for His kingdom. In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus reminds us that following Him is not about comparison or worldly success. It is about faithful stewardship. This message challenges us to stop burying what God has given us and instead invest our lives in what matters most. Every act of kindness, every gift, every opportunity to serve, and every step of faith can become part of God's work in the world. When we faithfully use what God has placed in our hands, lives are changed and His kingdom expands.

Pictures of the Kingdom: Parable of the Ten Bridesmaids

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of life. We wait for answers, healing, change, and sometimes for God to move in ways we cannot yet see. In the Parable of the Ten Bridesmaids, Jesus teaches us how to live faithfully in the waiting. This message reminds us that following Jesus is not about predicting the future but preparing our hearts in the present. We are called to remain ready, rooted in God's presence, and faithful in our everyday lives. As we worship, pray, serve, and grow in Christ, we become people who are prepared for whatever comes and ready to welcome the King whenever He appears.

Pictures of the Kingdom: Parable of the Wedding Feast

Everyone is invited into the kingdom of God, but accepting the invitation means allowing God to transform us. In the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, Jesus uses the image of clothing to remind us that the kingdom is not about appearances. It is about a changed heart. This message challenges us to consider what we are wearing spiritually. Are we trying to live on our own terms, relying on our own righteousness, or are we allowing God's grace to shape and transform us? The generosity of God invites us as we are, but His love refuses to leave us the same. Through His grace, we are clothed in His righteousness and become people who reflect His character to the world around us.

Pictures of the Kingdom: The Vineyard Workers

The kingdom of God does not operate like the kingdoms of this world. In the Parable of the Vineyard Workers, Jesus reveals a God whose grace is extravagant, generous, and available to everyone. This message reminds us that our value is not determined by our productivity, accomplishments, or how long we have followed Jesus. Our worth is found in the love of God and the finished work of Christ. The invitation of the kingdom is to receive God's grace with gratitude and then join Him in the work He is doing in the world. There is a place for everyone in His vineyard, and there is always more work to do in sharing His love with others.
