It’s the small one that runs through our story this Sunday from 1 Samuel 17. There are few stories more familiar than the literary classic of David and Goliath. In the story David is the patron saint of underdogs. The theme in all these stories is simple. Small can be surprisingly effective. Or said another way . . . The Power of Small is the Power of God.
