Love is the Mark of the Church

Love is more than a feeling reserved for the people who are easiest to care for. In Ruth's commitment to Naomi and in the example of Jesus, we see that real love is sacrificial, patient, and steadfast. It shows up in extraordinary moments of courage and in ordinary moments of inconvenience. As followers of Christ, love is not an optional part of our faith. It is the evidence of a life transformed by the love we have first received from Him. In this message, we are challenged to ask whether the love of Jesus is overflowing into our relationships and shaping the way we treat the people around us.
